About our client
This is a leading environmental infrastructure fund with significant capital under management. As the funds under management have grown, there’s the need to bring in a dedicated person to manage the assets. This is a new role so there is scope to mould the position.
Responsibilities
- Manage the asset management team
- Support the transaction team during investment processes with specific insight on future asset management issues
- Take-over the assets post acquisition and be responsible for the day-day management up to the point of disposal
- Implement investee reporting systems – internal and external
- Asset disposal
- Work closely with other teams in the fund and assist them when required
Skills we’re looking for
- Experience of managing portfolio’s of infrastructure or energy assets across multiple countries
- Experience of working with these assets in a private equity, infrastructure, or industrial sponsor environment
- Strong process and time-management skills
- Familiarity with MIS design and implementation, management accounting and team management
- Engineering experience and understanding of asset operation and contracts is beneficial but not essential
- An international “out-look”
