Our client is a multinational company and a leading provider of online trading financial products and services. Due to the focus in Asia region, they are seeking to hire an experienced Head of Business Development to drive the business growth in Singapore and across other parts of Asia.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you are responsible for strategizing the business to increase the company's market share. You are to seek and maximize opportunities via direct trading client or institutional partners. Working closely with the internal stakeholders, you are to ensure and enhance the efficiency and delivery of on-boarding new clients. You will also contribute to the marketing communication strategies and ensure that they are aligned with the company's strategy and guidelines. You will conduct regular competitor's research and market trends and implement effective marketing strategies to penetrate to new market share. You will maintain and cultivate existing and new client relationships amongst brokers/fund managers/institutions to increase the awareness of the company.
Ideal candidates should possess
- At least 7 -10 years of proven experience in the Singapore broking market
- Track record of sales management experience within the Financial Services Sector
- Good network across high net worth investor , broking houses and other major industry players in the stock broking market
- Experience working for online trading providers across Asia
- Proven experience of managing teams of staff
- Good working knowledge of CFD, FX, derivatives and stock trading
