Head of Business Testing & Assurance

This role has the option be based in Birmingham, Edinburgh or London.

As Head of Business Testing Assurance, you'll manage the SPM testing relationship with Technology Services (and other software providers), Group Operations and with other Business Change functions. You will represent CBD in all matters of testing on cross-divisional and Group change programmes. You will provide leadership of a key service function, including building a team of professionally accredited testers who are able to champion the bank’s internal standards through the Connect4Change framework, and best leverage offsite, near shore and offshore capability. You'll also create a capability benchmark through the industry TMMi framework and lead a series of action plans to enhance this accreditation.

For this Head of Business Testing Assurance role you'll need to have significant experience in a business (or technology) change delivery role coupled with experience as a Senior Test Manager or Senior Programme Manager. It's important that you've experience of driving complex change initiatives at a strategic level. And you'd need proven people leadership skills, managing multi-site teams, including offshore, totalling 50 staff members or more. You'll bring proven networking skills that can enable change and gain quick wins and show a flexible approach to work with the ability to accept and champion change. And you'll have extensive knowledge of programme management methodologies and frameworks with a thorough understanding of different strategies and approaches to testing.
