Head of Coffee Trading
Our client, an established trading house, is looking to develop their coffee team and is seeking an experienced trader to head their team. The suitable individual will have a proven track record of successful trading and a network of existing relationships they would be able to utilise in a new role.
Responsibilities for the position:
- Manage existing coffee trading team, focussing on the European and African markets.
- Develop profitable trading book covering both Robusta and Arabica.
- Utilise existing relationship and contacts in the market to develop company’s presence within the coffee industry.
- Assist in the future expansion plans for the trading house.
Skills required for the position:
- 6+ years physical coffee trading experience
- Existing profitable book
- In depth knowledge of the European and African coffee markets
- Willing to be based in Geneva
