Head of Commercial Banking / SME/Mass Market/Corporate
This is a high profile, newly created role that will have responsibility for the Commercial banking business for this leading Bank. This will include both the SME and mass market / Commercial Banking business lines and also some of the Corporate business reporting into them. This role will transform the Commercial banking business under the bank's new target model and play a key role in assessing client focus/coverage and to drive the local and regional sales teams through the branch network to ensure proactive and superior customer service. In turn to ensure the bank grows its Commercial banking footprint in UAE and regionally adn work with other groups eg Transaction Banking to really drive the sales and product lines. The role will also involve covering some existing larger corporate clients in some of the regional/country markets. To qualify you should be a hands on leader with a strong track record in the Commercial Banking/SME/Mass market and ideally Corporate Banking /Transaction Banking space. Solid sales and people management and previous experience in transforming a business from strategy, to product and sales. Strong product knowledge across Commercial Banking including the ability to leverage and sell the Bank's Transaction Banking capability coupled with a track record in transforming a similar business is essential.
