Requirements:
Given the high profile nature of the role previous experience as a head of compliance and preferably as the CF10 is essential. A proven ability to effectively apply compliance policy and procedures across multiple business lines is also a perquisite.
Stature and ability to genuinely lead the compliance function in the UK and form an effective part of the bank’s senior leadership team are seen as essential elements in the right person.
