The Role
Role will involve managing our clients legal and compliance requirements at both a Group and Subsidiary level. Specifically:
- Design Group legal and regulatory compliance polices for approval by the Board
- Evaluate existing detailed compliance processes in place in the Group’s subsidiaries and, implement approved Group policies
- Establish a network of subsidiary compliance coordinators to ensure appropriate and effective delegation of compliance activities
- On-going assessment of the Group’s compliance risk profile, ensuring gaps and areas of weaknesses in the implementation and effectiveness of compliance activities are addressed in full
- Ensure proper and timely reporting of compliance related issues, including alleged or potential violations of, or non-compliance with, laws or regulations
- Engage in the regular monitoring of developments or changes in the law or regulations applicable to the Group
The Candidate
Candidates should be qualified coming from a legal or finance background. Excellent academic backgrounds and a minimum of ten years relevant legal/ compliance experience essential.
