Head of Consolidation BPO West

Main purpose of job

The Head of consolidation and BPO is on the one hand responsible for the consolidation of the financial data of all West companies and reporting consolidated data to the Group. The Head is responsible for ensuring timely, transparent and accurate financial statements. The functions needs to ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements according to IFRS and run an efficient and trustful cooperation with the external auditors.

On the other hand the Head is responsible for the interface with Accenture in the BPO. This includes a constant optimization of this interface, the work which is done in Bangalore as well as in the West countries. This also covers to achieve a far higher standardization of accounting processes across all West companies than today. The head will be responsible to manage the Accenture contract on West level, e.g. secure service provided in line with contract SLAs, adjust SLAs there necessary and guarantee our client adhere to contract requirements.

Candidate

·         7+ years of professional experience in an international accounting environment

·         Profound Knowledge of IFRS

·         Deep knowledge of consolidating a group of companies

·         Deep knowledge of general accounting processes

·         Fluent in English

·         Dutch, French and/or German are an advantage

·         Knowledge of SAP and Cognos preferred

·         Process driven, detail oriented

·         Straight and clear in communication

Office / Base: Schiphol region with regular but not extensive travel to Ghent, Paris, Zurich, London
