Scientist-Fermentation Process Development Job in Alamo 78516, Texas US
Five years experience within Biofuels/Biotech/Chemicals industries, Biofuels preferred
A Ph.D. or Masters degree in Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering or related field
The ability to successfully interpret, optimize and replicate novel fermentation development processes
Fundamental comprehension of microbial physiology
Experience with yeast fermentations, shake flask to process scale-up and downstream processing of fermentation broth
Experience with bench scale batch fed-batch microbial fermentations, media formulation, statistical design and analysis
