Head of Credit Risk Evaluation recruitment
Our client is a leading bank. With a large presence in the Middle East.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all of the business groups in the bank comply with the lending policies, procedures and regulations.
- Revising existing policies, procedures by keeping up to date with market conditions and Basel committee’s recommendations, as well as any new regulations
- Other duties include establishing a system, for independent risk assessment of the banks advances and processes in order to regularly highlight the banks strengths and weaknesses.
- You will also be involved in developing and maintaining a credit grading system and validate the rating parameters including integrating the system into the risk evaluation unit for rating review process.
To be successful in this role you will be Degree qualified with a minimum of ten years experience within banking.
You will have strong credit risk assessment skills, as well as a strong knowledge of a credit control function. Strong communication skills, both oral and written are required for this position. Arabic language skills are not essential, however would be an advantage. Successful credit risk professionals with strong leadership and communication skills will succeed in this role.
