Job Description
This is a regional role as a member of the Global Equity Desktop team with a direct reporting line to the Global Head of Equity Desktop. This person is responsible for overseeing and managing the Asia Equities Desktop team to establish, manage and drive channel engagement with their sales channels. This will be accomplished through the development of strategic and tactical plans, the development of client and product propositions, arranging and hosting regional product briefing meetings and events, implementing product and marketing programs , all in support of driving the growth of equities desktop sales within the region.
Who we're looking for?
The right individual will need to have the following;
- Specific experience in equities, trading and market data field: Experience in equities trading, market data, for Asian/global capital markets
- Drive Execution in a Complex Organization: Anticipates and probes issues and contingencies with the early involvement of others, creating a culture that translates strategies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables. Drives accountability and makes timely decisions and tough calls on enterprise issues and opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. (market analysis, requirements definition, competitive analysis)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience, including senior management.
- Strong team player with experience of working with virtual teams from different functions/regions.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Communication: Ability to communicate confidently and concisely using specialist business acumen.
- Cross-Functional Focus - Communicates frequently and concisely with peers, managers, clients, and industry participants. Applies articulate verbal and written communication ability to translate the vision/strategy into clear priorities and direction.
- Delivery: Ability to understand the business and practices of global, multi-asset trading and how our clients products and services support this
- Creativity and innovation: Continuously maintain an innovative mindset whist operating with a set of defined internal and external communication processes.
