Head of Finance, Financial Services
Our client is a global business looking for a head of finance for their London office. An opportunity has opened up for a head of finance to support and under pin the executive team and provide technical and commercial support to a small and collegiate executive team.
This role will take responsibility through a small team for the accounting, tax and treasury together with monitoring of commercial activities whilst implementing, maintaining, monitoring of effective internal controls over the financial operations.
The successful candidate will be a graduate chartered accountant trained and qualified with a well-respected firm and be highly familiar with the reporting requirements of an FS regulated business. Technically competent comfortable with consolidations, tax and treasury and IFRS and with a proven track record of academic and professional achievement he/she will have the ability to interact at the highest level. The individual appointed will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills with the presence and maturity to inspire confidence and establish strong relationships across all areas of the business. Decisive, tough and a radical thinker with a strong intellect he/she will be performance oriented and ambitious.
The ideal candidate is likely to have FS experience from a mid size company with broad ranging knowledge and exposure.
