Head of Finance RIsk & Control recruitment
Investigo are seeking a head of Finance Risk Control to work closely with the Head of Finance Governance and other colleagues and stakeholders to develop finance strategy related to finance risk and control.
You will be responsible for the following
- Providing subject matter expertise in relation to Operational Risk, Risk Management and Sarbanes-Oxley impacting Financial Reporting
- Ensuring appropriate financial risk controls and documentation is in place
- Driving efficiency in relation to the control environment and compliance with associated policies and methodologies
- Implementing minimum standards for compliance with Group policy and methodologies associated with financial reporting and control
- Ensuring targeted assurance activities are undertaken to provide confidence to senior stakeholders that the requirements of relevant policies and methodologies are being appropriately and consistently achieved across the bank.
- Ensuring effective and efficient control issue resolution
- Support senior executives in relation to both strategic initiatives and the discharge of their obligations as prescribed by both the Internal Controls Assurance and Financial Reporting and Control Frameworks.
- Driving the development of strategy and its implementation globally, ensuring congruency to overall strategic objectives at all times.
Experience and Qualifications
- Financial accounting or control in major business area or finance function.
- Proven leader of teams of finance professionals.
- Formal accounting or business qualification e.g. ACMA, ACA, ACCA.
