Product Consultant – Solvency II recruitment

The Role / Responsibilities:

The Senior Consultant will take a leading role within the Solvency II Implementation team, with a focus on managing and delivering high quality projects. The Senior Consultant will report directly to the Director of Implementation services, but will be expected to work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders. The Senior Consultant will be expected to mentor junior members of staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Solvency II implementation skill centre and develop our consultants skills
• Act as a thought leader in our Insurance professional services team
• Manage several Solvency II software implementation projects
• Develop our Solvency II software implementation services offering and project methodology
• Responsible for supporting RFP answering from services perspective
• Act as the primary contact within implementation services for interactions with our Solvency II Product Management software design department

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in the Insurance Industry risk management and Solvency II gained in an Insurance company, a consultancy firm or a Software engineering company.
• Exposure to life and non life
• Excellent knowledge of existing and international regulatory requirements (e.g. Solvency II directive and QIS 5 technical specifications)
• Experience in software implementation projects
• Experience with actuarial calculation engines : Prophet, Moses or equivalent
• Familiar with Economic Scenario Generator models.
• Strong understanding of Economic Capital Frameworks, financial risk management and ALM.
• Relevant professional qualifications (eg. Actuarial, FRM or CFA)
• Technical skills on Relational databases and SQL,
• Be able to communicate effectively technical information to non experts,
• Be able to build relationships at all levels with both the internal organization and clients.
• English and French language desirable.

Our Implementation Services team leverages the extensive product and research knowledge of Moody's Analytics to help clients gain the full benefit of our software offerings. The role will be focused around the insurance market and in particular around the Solvency II space.
