LOCATION: Johor Bahru
A golden opportunity to join a world class MNC to manage and develop their finance shared service function supporting the Asia Pacific region.
My client is a world leader in its field and is currently experiencing tremendous growth globally, particularly in the Asia Pacific, where they have a strong presence in over 15 locations.
The Head of Finance - Shared Services will be responsible for managing the shared service function for the business that includes: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record to Report, Master Data Management, and Audit as well as projects and process improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Financial control across all supported countries
- Team management and development - recruit, train, motivate
- Drive an environment of continuous improvement, instilling best practice across the team
- Manage the integration of acquisitions into the shared environment
- Play a key role in the strategic development and planning for the finance business unit
Key requirements
- 10+ years experience
- Degree educated, ideally with accounting qualification
- Experience managing a shared service function, ideally for APAC
- Able to drive and motivate teams
- Ability to analyse performance across a number of KPIs - understand potential growth areas/challenges/issues
- Compliance focused
- Strong communication skills - confident, articulate
- Attention to detail
