Head of Finance Systems recruitment

Head of Finance Systems required by a global Asset Management firm.

The Head of Finance Systems will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role involves managing the functional and technical aspects of supporting all Finance platforms and applications for the Finance teams in each region. The Head of Finance Systems will be managing a team which focuses on the design, implementation, development, testing and on-going maintenance of all finance systems to deliver solutions and operational efficiencies to the Group Finance function. In addition, the team also supports and manages the firm wide AUM and Flow reporting platform, which is used by key stakeholders across the Group. 

The Head of Finance Systems role will also be heavily involved with the IT Group and is expected to work closely with the project teams to implement a new global Ledger platform for Finance, while maintaining business as usual for the rest of the department. The project will look to update the current Finance architecture and processes, this will include replacing the current General Ledger and subledgers (Payables, Receivables, Assets, Procurement, and Expenses) along with key internal / external reporting. In addition, a new Global AUM Flow reporting solution project is also in-flight which will require engagement from the individual in his role, along with other key Finance stakeholders. 

The Head of Finance Systems should have the following skills: -

• Strong knowledge of the Finance function

• Asset Management knowledge

This is a contract role, paying market rates and is based in London.
