Head of Financial Control – Private Equity recruitment
• Act as a strategic business partner and work closely with the management team in bringing the company’s business to the next level.
• You will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the company operations and fund management activities.
• Provide leadership and coordination in overseeing and strengthening the financial and management accounting, budgeting, strategic planning, financial model development, treasury, taxation, financial advisory, corporate governance and internal controls plus leading investor relations and capital fund raising functions.
• As a key strategic partner, you are also responsible for providing objective and professional evaluation on potential investment opportunities and recommending corrective action as well as driving operational efficiency and implementing effective procedure, control and system.
• Your role is to affect change and grow the business to its greatest potential.
Requirements:
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Investment, Business Administration or a related discipline in credible university.
• Qualified accountant with exposure in prestigious CPA firms or blue chip corporations is a pre-requisite.
• CFA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ solid experience in financial services industry focusing on corporate finance area - ideally from reputable private equity and fund management companies, investment banks and asset management companies.
• Strong experience in capital raising and investor relations. Substantial working experience in performing due diligence and investment review.
• Extensive exposure in Greater China business environment as well as fund operations and familiarity with China banking, taxation, legal and government regulation and practice are highly preferable.
• Excellent communicator at all levels within the Corporate and clients with personal qualities of aggressiveness, self-motivation, result-orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Positive attitude with high degree of commitment.
• Proactive and dedicated, with good commercial sense and sound business acumen.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills and a broad picture mindset, with proficiency in identifying and solving problems, able to give practical, well reasoned and researched written financial advice.
• Strong relationship building skills; experience in collaborating with the authorities and regulators.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong people management and leadership skill with strong financial judgment.
• Excellent report writing skills and fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin - is a MUST.
