Position Overview:

 

This is a regional role as a member of the Fixed Income Sector within the Trading Segment. The person will be responsible for the Net Sales and Revenue of the Fixed Income business in Asia, overseeing, managing and directing all aspects of the Asia Fixed Income team and business, and for the regional go-to-market planning and execution. The role is a senior general management role requiring ability to influence across a matrix, commercial acumen, an excellent customer network and networking skills, and a credible leader who acts strategically and manages scale and complexity well.

 

Primary Accountabilities:

 

·         Regional Net Sales and Revenue responsibility for the Fixed Income Sector

·         Execute Go-To-Market activities

·         Lead and develop the regional Fixed Income team

·         Design, execute, monitor, performance measure

·         Regionalize global propositions to reflect regional needs

·         Customer experience and service accountability

·         Engage, retain and build relationships with key clients , partners and industry influencers

·         Responsible for driving knowledge sharing, best practices and collaboration across geographies

·         Thought leadership / Representation of Sector at public events and key client pitches or negotiations

·         Fixed Income figure head for the geography

·         Secondary Accountabilities:

·         Pricing and packaging strategy

·         Content strategy

·         Business planning

·         Market and competitor insight

·         Redistribution partnerships

·         Acquisition/partner strategy

·         Post-acquisition integration strategy/ownership

·         Service strategy

·         Product feedback

·         Revenue reporting/analysis in conjunction with finance.

Required skills and experience:

 

·         Deep knowledge of the Asian Fixed Income markets

·         Ability to drive execution in a complex organization.

·         Outstanding communication and presentation skills

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience, including senior management.

·         Strong team player with experience of working with virtual teams from different functions/regions.

·         Strong financial and commercial acumen.

·         Ability to communicate confidently and concisely.

·         Knowledge of Thomson Reuters strategy, markets and competitive landscape.

 

Education/Other:

 

·         Graduate Calibre / MBA Preferred

·         Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS WORD, and MS PowerPoint.

·         Ability to communicate internally and externally in a clear, authoritative fashion

·         Robust networking capabilities
