Performance Associate – Investment Operations
Level 6
This position reports through to the Performance Reporting Manager, Asia Pacific ex-Japan.
Summary of role:
The main purpose of the role is to produce investment performance return calculations in support of the Sydney and Hong Kong investment offices. The Performance team is also responsible for the client reporting delivery function for SSgA Australia clients
Role Responsibilities:
Produce timely and accurate investment performance returns on SSgA Pooled vehicles, ETFs and Separately Managed Accounts.
- Liaise and coordinate with global offices supporting multiple Investment Centers across several asset classes.
- Production of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc internal and external Reporting material for client distribution.
- Facilitate and monitor client reporting process
- Meeting all stated Service Level Expectations (including AUM validation and Billing Support).
Position Requirements:
- Graduate level or above. CFA Level I student or examination success an advantage.
- Minimum 12 months Investment Performance production experience at either an investment manager or custodian.
- Knowledge of investment accounting and NAV calculation
- Demonstrated ability to meet Service Level Expectations
- High attention to detail
Skills / knowledge:
- Demonstrated ability to independently meet deadlines and possess strong problem solving and resolution skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of performance measurement.
- Good understanding of financial services and investment products
- Strong PC skills, specifically Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced).
