Head of Fixed Income / Equities PC, Hong Kong, Growing IB recruitment
The IB is focusing a large proportion of its growth strategy on Asia, but also on expanding its portfolio / business in the Equities space. This is therefore a business critical hire created on the back of its recent and expected exponential growth.
There is currently one individual in the team and a Director who will step to one side and run the Finance function as you take the role on. Whilst you will be in a position to develop and grow the team over the next couple of years before becoming a Director, you should be comfortable in being heavily hands on in that time, in addition to performing a hands on change management role that goes hand in hand with such a task. You will report in to the Global Head of Product Control, face off to the COO to the area, work closely with the CFO and manage relationships with Head Traders.
Due to the growth strategy we require a current VP that ideally has both Equities and Fixed Income Product Control experience. We could take an expert in one specific asset class if the candidate can provide further relevant qualities such as change management experience, or a track record of successfully building and growing areas.
The client is open to paying a strong package for the right person. We are ideally looking for somebody based in APAC although the client is open to looking at candidates from the UK.
