Head of Fixed Income / Equities Product Control, Growing IB, HK recruitment
A highly regarded, top performing Investment Bank is looking for a strong VP to take on, head up and grow its Fixed Income and Equities Product Control function in Hong Kong. The IB is focusing a large proportion of its growth strategy on Asia, but also on expanding its portfolio / business in the Equities space. This is therefore a business critical hire created on the back of recent exponential growth.
There is currently one Product Controller in the team and a Director who will step to one side and run the Finance function when this hire is completed. Whilst you will develop and grow the team over the next couple of years before becoming a Director, you should be comfortable in being heavily hands on in that time, in addition to having change management responsibilities that go hand in hand with such an important role. This is a highly visible and accountanble role in which you will report in to the Global Head of Product Control, face off to the Fixed Income and Equity COO's, work closely with the CFO and manage relationships with Head Traders.
Due to the growth strategy we require a solid Product Control VP that is ideally from an Equities or Fixed Income background. Further relevant qualities such as change management experience, a track record of successfully building and growing areas and management exprience would be seen as an advantage.
The client is open to paying a strong package for the right individual. We are ideally looking for somebody based in APAC although the client is open to looking at candidates from the UK.
