Head of Fixed Income Sales, Australia recruitment
This leading provider of financial services to government, institutional and corporate clients, is now seeking a Managing Director to head the fixed income sales team. Their global insight gives a unique ability of value creation through long-term partnerships. They maintain a broad range of expertise across disciplines to ensure the effective structuring and distribution of tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Partner, you will focus on:
- Generating secondary trading opportunities in all USD denominated Structured Finance and Structured Credit transactions; specifically non Agency MBS and CLO's.
- Distribution of 3rd Party managed funds to Australian Quasi Government organisations, Family Offices, FoF, Superannuation and Industry Funds.
- Distribution of Australasian Structured Finance (RMBS, CMBS and ABS) transactions to Asset Managers, Banks and Insurance Companies in Australia.
- Distribution of US and EU Structured Credit transactions to Australian institutional clients.
- Supporting DCM partners in providing structured finance solutions to Banks, NBFI and Insurance Company balance sheets.
Skills Experience
It is expected that you will ideally be a senior salesperson with:
- 10 years Financial Markets experience and a minimum of 5yrs in Structured Products;
- Existing client relationships and an established track record of completed transactions;
- High level knowledge in structured products distribution;
- Strong technical expertise, preferably including structuring capabilities;
- A proven ability to develop new client segments; and,
- Knowledge of regional tax, legal and accounting constraints.
