We are seeking for an entrepreneurial
Head of Indexes
who has a successful track record in sales and management of at least 6-8 years in the financial industry. You have an academic economic background (preferably Master) and bring in profound sales experience. Furthermore you are able to convince people, build trust, and motivate other team members by personal dedication. You are a self-starter with distinctive client orientation and outgoing personality, high conviction for the theme of sustainability. Good knowledge of the indexes business is required. English mother tongue and ideally German language skills and good analytical skills complement the qualities that you bring along. Your workplace will be Zurich but frequent travelling is required.
You main responsibilities will include:
- Global Relationship Management with Dow Jones
- Acquisition, and expansion of relationships with customers, prospects and other key stakeholders
- Business development by international networking and business intelligence
- Linking pin between the market and product development
- Interaction with SAM departments Sustainability Research, Sales Marketing
- Responsibility for management and leveraging partnerships
- Representing SAM at conferences and other events
- Management of interaction with SAM Global Client Marketing for communication initiatives
- Responsibility for Index Team
You will be responsible for the financial bottom line of the Indexes business line within SAM.
SAM’s index business was established in 1999 with the launch of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes – the world’s first global sustainability benchmarks. Today, the indexes are licensed to asset managers and banks in 19 countries with more than USD 8 billion being managed against this index family.
SAM is an investment boutique focused exclusively on Sustainability Investing. The firm’s offering comprises asset management, indexes and clean tech private equity. SAM partners with Dow Jones Indexes in the publication and development of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI).
