Head of International Equity Sales Trading / London
Cavendish Bloom are working with a very well known Global investment bank who are looking to hire an experienced and highly qualified International equity sales trader to join their European sales trading business in London.
The position will be focused on European sales trading however all applicants must have a strong client focus on UK and US based accounts. Those with US clients who have UK/European desks will be considered.
Cavendish Blooms client has an existing European sales trading platform and this position is part of the on-going growth of their equities business. It is essential that all applicants come from a cash sales trading background, someone with a solid understanding of the European space and it would be preferred if any prospective profiles have had experience working with other large global investment banks within an International sales trading role.
Suitable profiles would not only be strong producers, but also have managerial qualities. The chosen candidate will be coming into this business as the Head of International Sales trading, and will be responsible for managing the UK and US sales traders who are currently in place as well as have the opportunity to expand this business further over the course of the next 12 months.
To summarise, all applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for this position;
-Be currently working at a Director or MD level position in terms of experience.
-Have extensive experience across the European equity sales trading space.
-Have a solid network/transferable client base consisting of UK AND US accounts.
-Have managerial and leadership qualities.
-Be based in London or willing to relocate to London.
-Be a strong producer/revenue generator.
-Have an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to develop and implement ideas to grow this business model.
This would be a great opportunity for a senior European sales trader to move into a position where he/she can demonstrate their revenue generating abilities as well as manage and grow the existing team.
