Head of Investment Marketing
Key Result Areas and Responsibilities:
- Establish and continuously evolve an effective framework and team to develop the marketing of Wealth’s investment proposition, including investment tools, across markets, ensuring relevancy in individual markets
- Scenario plan for different outcomes of regulations and competitor activity, ensuring that the sales teams and FAs understand our position, and the media covers it positively
- Create, execute and continuously evolve an effective investment marketing plan aimed at customer, distributor and media, for the optimisation of a profitable business mix whilst meeting customer needs
Create a compelling story
Leverage investment marketing collateral across the Wealth markets
Develop campaigns
Support fund and proposition launches with appropriate marketing positioning, plans and output
Supply content for digital and printed channels
Source and leverage content from external sources including fund group partners
Maintain compliant core materials
Drive adoption of the investment proposition by IFAs and customers through communication, training, education, etc
Explain and encourage adoption of our services to the sales force provide training as appropriate
- Work with in house partners Investment Solutions to develop attractive and profitable investment solutions
- Ensure the quality and integrity of investment marketing collateral and ensure it remains within our risk and regulatory framework
- Lead, motivate and develop the investment marketing function
- Develop market and customer relevant campaigns, messaging, development opportunities and ideas
- Support the International regions with regard to adviser fund requirements e.g white lists, supporting the Group's commercial strategy.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- 10 + years’ experience in marketing of financial services, particularly the mutual funds sector
- Demonstrable marketing media success
- Detailed market facing knowledge of UK and International / Offshore markets from an investment proposition perspective
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing through intermediated channels
