HEAD OF LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT recruitment

Develop and execute strategies and action plans to implement high-impact learning and organisational development solutions across geographic and sector boundaries, based on best practice in the areas of behavioral sciences, learning/education, training/coaching, and organisational architecture and effectiveness.

Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of global training services and action learning to individuals and teams to enhance both individual performance/fulfillment and team/organisational capability.

Drive the development of a word-class, role-based curriculum for key functions and populations.

Establish the framework for business line, team specific organisational development initiatives. Facilitate the delivery of such development and change management projects in conjunction with business leaders and HR Business Partners.

Act as knowledge accumulator and builder on leading internal and external LD know-how and experiences, and identify, negotiate and manage preferred supplier arrangements.

Build, lead and actively support a diverse team of talented LD professionals responsible for providing development consulting as well as recruiting/developing young talents, addressing training needs, organizing onboarding programs for new hires, etc.

Ensure a solid budgeting and accounting of LD initiatives across the Bank.

Establish a community of learning professionals and subject matter experts across the organisation to share best practices, align strategies, and leverage capability to the fullest extent. 

Profile required:

Strong experience in and passion for LD / organisational development consulting in multinational corporations combined with solid academic background in Human Resources, OD or I/O Psychology. A Ph.D. in a related discipline would be a plus.

Highly energetic and resourceful leader with a strong desire to 'make a difference', with the capability to quickly take control of responsibilities and to establish himself/herself as a credible and inspiring strategic business partner and as a manager of his own team.

Strong results orientation with a demonstrated ability to set-up and oversee practical, solution-driven projects on the ground that are perceived as quickly adding value to the business.

Outstanding communication skills with ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner and develop trust and influence as a senior thought leader with a broad relationship base.

Strong command of both French and English.

Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
