Head of Listed Research recruitment

This high profile role sits within an emerging business unit of an existing wealth management business. This business unit also provides consulting to advisory firms looking to amend their business model to deal with the pending FOFA reforms.

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer this role will include identifying listed securities that will outperform nominated passive benchmarks; blending selected securities into sector portfolios as required to meet the needs of clients; Communication of performance of listed securities and company views to internal investment committees, clients and media; management of an Investment Analyst.

The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of sell side or buy side experience at a lead analyst level; Appropriate Bachelor’s degree with post graduate degree/FINSIA or CFA highly regarded; Ability to be the public face of the business.
