Head of Management Information recruitment
Inline with increasing Governance standards, one of the City’s high profile banking institutions is forming a new Controls Team. This team requires a Head of Management Information who will oversee the production of Management Information (MI) that flows to the Boards and Executive Committees of the Company from the operational level committees. This MI is produced by Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Internal Audit, HR and Information Technology.
This role gives exposure to the key decision makers and stakeholders throughout the organisation including the Company Secretary. The ideal person needs to be able to interpret and challenge information being produced and tailor it for the audience who will vary from specialists to generalists. He or she will have a familiarity with Financial, Risk, Compliance and Regulatory performance metrics. Given the breadth of the role this person will in all likelihood be a qualified accountant perhaps with an internal audit or risk background. This position will suit someone who has a proactive, inquisitive approach, strong communication skills and an analytical mind.
