Head of Marketing recruitment

In this role you will have ownership of the PL targets for the brand. You will be expected to drive growth from direct marketing for a range of services combined with accountability for profit performance from direct sales. The position is responsible for developing fully costed marketing and business plans to strengthen direct marketing strategy and to create and head B2C marketing activity for the brand. You will establish new forms of effective on and offline commercial marketing activity whilst developing strategies for profitable growth for the brand and will communicate these to the Managing Director and the Board. A key facet of this role is developing supplier relationships and ensuring regulatory regime is understood and adhered to.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of creating and delivering brand-led marketing strategy at a senior level of responsibility within a financial services environment. You will have experience of sales and marketing management within an entrepreneurial business with responsibility for the management and development of a number of direct reports. You will have expertise across the full marketing mix, with particular strength in direct marketing and advertising both in-house and in employing agencies. The successful candidate will have a track record of success combined with excellent communication skills and a commercial and strategic mind.
