Head of Monitoring and Reporting recruitment

This role will run a high profile team and provide leadership to the Monitoring and Reporting team while also reporting directly in to committee level. It involves working closely with the Head of Compliance and you will need to be able to demonstrate strong awareness of FSA changes.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the compliance culture, while taking responsibility of the monitoring related aspects of the Annual Compliance Plan.

This role also requires experience of training team members, provide develop a compliance training programme and work to strict reporting deadlines.

A strong understanding of compliance and risk from the insurance sector is necessary, as well as direct experience of team leadership and monitoring.

You will hold responsibility for ensuring all monitoring activities and business operations adhere to both internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
 

The ideal candidate will:

- have extensive experience operating in the compliance dept of a public company in the UK regulatory environment.
- have a proven track record of liaising with business colleagues at senior management level.
