Head of Network Service Delivery Director – Investment Bank recruitment

Responsibilities

• Provide representation to the change governance process for Network Service Delivery. Ensure the minimum acceptable levels of planning; testing, risk rating, and approval are followed

• Jointly approve with vendor regional management the pipeline of projects to be added to the MNS Project Portfolio. Ensure the appropriateness of resourcing, project detail, and aggregated risk to maintain production stability with planned change 

• Providing a clear deployment acceptance toll gate for PME. Ensure deployment readiness reviews of the technical designs of transformation to formally handover complex projects from PME into ISD

• Ensure the appropriateness of resourcing, scheduling, skills availability, project detail and aggregated risk to maintain production stability with complex technology change

• Working closely with the vendor regional management and operations manager to resolve incidents as quickly as possible

• Co-partner with the vendor on the problem management process to prevent reoccurrence, proactively identify environment risks, and drive ongoing service improvement. Be responsible for the internal communication of progress and achievement, while working with other IT partners on their responsibility toward production stability

• Manage business requirements and priorities. Work with the central PMO on projects, programs, and presentations that will be communicated across departments including Application Development, Infrastructure Service Leads, and Business Managers (COO, BMs). 

• Partner with the Product Management and Engineering organization to understand the product roadmaps and how technology roadmaps impact the business units and delivery organization

• Provide stakeholder ownership on any service level impacts and remediation activities

• Act as the primary interface for cross tower business driven activities and projects and ensure the vendor clear on the support requirements for projects

• Strong preference is for the role to be in Singapore it can be discussed for other locations in APAC

Requirements:

• A deep understanding of Network technology. They must be able to understand the technical issues they will face and determine if appropriate actions are being taken.

• Strong problem solving skills to deduce relevant information from multiple data sources. Prior experience with Infrastructure management a strong plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at a management level. Expectation management with stake holders and senior management required. 

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• The successful individual will form strong partnerships and work closely with the service delivery organization. It will be essential for the individual be good at bringing people together and fostering a team work attitude. 

• Providing clear and concise reporting, presentations and communications to Senior IT management

• ITIL certification an advantage.

• Understanding of the Asia Pacific Telco landscape an advantage.
