Head of Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Relationship Manager, Islamic Investment Bank, Dubai. Salary: Highly Competitive + Bonus
The role:
• Origination relationship management of key non-bank FIs in the UAE and wider GCC region. Candidates should have a good familiarity with traditional slow products/ corporate banking products including trade finance, cash management, loan syndications and capital markets.
• Will be required to cross-sell the bank’s product suite which has a specific focus on Islamic Banking products/ Shariah compliant products.
• Execute global FI strategies which include identifying new business opportunities, building the institutions investors franchise, growing deposits and increasing cross sell across the GCC region.
• Additional headcount to hire a more junior team, so applicants should be entrepreneurial and have the desire to build a business as part of the broader Financial Institutions Group.
Requirements:
• This is for a senior level hire– candidates will be expected to be around the Director level or above in terms of experience.
• Is essential to have recent and extensive NBFI experience with a preference for candidates coming from large Middle Eastern local banks as this is likely to provide the best fit in terms of existing client relationships/ rolodex.
• This role is to be based in Dubai. Though candidates will be considered from other regions, you must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the UAE markets and wider GCC region. Candidates without Middle Eastern experience cannot be considered.
