Macquariedefines Operational Risk as the risk of loss resulting from failed orinadequate internal processes, people and systems or from external events. Macquarie is seeking a BORM, (BusinessOperational Risk Manager) to join our Market Operations Division (MOD) inHouston.

The principal objectives of this role will be to:

Ensure Operational Risk is appropriatelyaddressed and managed within Market Operations in line with Macquarie'sOperational Risk Management framework and associated policies, and

Facilitate the continued improvement in operational risk awareness andculture within Market Operations

KeyResponsibilities:

· Ongoing Operational Risk Management asit relates MOD:

· Execution and monitoring of riskmanagement practices, operational issues and control breakdowns in MOD in theUS and EMEA

· Collation, analysis and reporting of avariety risk information on a routine and exception basis for MOD globally

· Review and implement Group-wide andDivisional policies and procedures

· Key elements of the framework tosupport:

· Facilitate Operational Risk SelfAssessment (ORSA)

· Assurance of the critical controls inMOD

· Incident Reporting (IRS) includinginvestigation, recording, reporting and analysis, action management andescalation

· Business Resilience includingmonitoring of compliance with policy and investigation/assistance whennon-compliance reported

· Conducting operational risk workshopsand training

· Liaising with internal and externalaudit

· Reviewing new business approvals andproposals

· Assistance on other ad hoc tasks asdirected

Key SkillRequirements:

· Bring proven experience in anoperational risk management, internal audit or Financial Markets Operationsmanagement capacity, ideally gained within a financial servicesenvironment

· Understand and be comfortable operatingin a segregated support area

· Be numerate, able to problem solve anddrive issues through to completion

· Display a professional work approach,work independently, be highly visible and provide transparency of process toclients and the team Ability to exercise initiative and be able to followthrough on issues with minimal supervision

· Ability to manage and prioritisemultiple tasks

· Be hands-on

· Be prepared to travel to Australia forinitial training
