Head of Operations
Eden Scott’s client, a leading investment management organisation, are looking for a Director level Head of Operations within their Derivatives Function.
This role will be a major influence and leader within the Global Investment Operations team which is spread across four regions. This role will be responsible for the Derivatives Operations in the EMEA region.
Duties/responsibilities:-
- Responsible for the management and strategic development of the Derivative Operations Function
- Responsible for managing regional staff of approximately 20
- Responsible for building of a team in India
- Oversight of derivative servicing across all the companies client portfolios
- Assess efficiency/productivity and implement measures to enhance service provided
- Implement a strategic derivatives operations support model
- Ensure operational consistency and risk mitigation
- Implement appropriate controls and procedures for information gathering purposes
- Regular reporting to investment operations senior management
- Build Global relationships
- Work closely with counterparts in other regions
Experience/background:
- Extensive experience of derivative operations and servicing activity
- Senior Management/Director experience at regional/global level
- Advanced experience of operational processes, risk and controls
- Experience of working within a global operational function
- Strong communication skills
- Strong relationship skills
- Significant experience of effecting and managing change across a large organisation
- Successful leadership skills
