Head of Operations – China recruitment
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be amongst the top leaders of China and will lead the set up and entire delivery of operations for the China Shared Service Center. Being the COO, a key responsibility would be to pragmatically interface between the Chinese entity and other global entities of the group. The role will include understanding the different business processes existing in various entities and thereby establishing a robust and sustainable operations framework. You will be responsible for measuring and managing performance, work on strategic initiatives, build strong relationship with onshore teams, drive employee satisfaction and champion improvement projects and costs.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
- 15+ years of demonstrated experience in a leading multinational with the complexity of managing a mutli process operation (within captive or non captive environment),
- Outstanding business acumen and the ability to link people, processes and technology to winning business outcomes,
- Ability to operate at both conceptual and working levels + eye for detail and an extremely hands on working style,
- Outstanding people leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse workforce,
- Proven verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, team working skills and ethical standards,
- Bilingual and fluent with both Mandarin and English,
- Proven track record in on-going management of operations and ability to lead teams of senior professionals as well as large teams of associates to meet strict operating deadlines and challenging SLA/ KPI productivity targets,
- Managed and ensured achievement of desired targets results with a high emphasis on process orientation and customer satisfaction.
