Head of Portfolio Management recruitment
This role is responsible for the problem identification for a specific region, ensuring that existing business is properly monitored and controlled so that bad debts are minimised and new business opportunities maximised within the portfolio risk appetite of the business.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Contribute to maintain the business’ bad debt provisions to agreed tolerances through early identification of potential risk to security within the region
- Support the business to drive and minimise client provisions within the region
- Ensure all business processes relevant to Audit Survey and Recs (DV in Scotland) are fully embedded, understood and complied with across the team.
- Manage and develop staff across the PI region monitoring direct reports– quality, staff turnover, talent, succession planning, culture etc
- Proactive management of audit frequencies.
- Support Audit and Survey Team Leaders in managing and engaging a peripatetic workforce, focusing on communication and ensuring a consistent message is delivered
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction/management and decisions on issues for Portfolio Risk Managers
- Act as member of the Portfolio Risk Managers meeting
- Close working across RBS IF Portfolio Risk Management to develop best practices and a common approach.
