About the Role
With the primary focus of maximising the achievement of targets through the implementation of the overall strategy and plans, you will Identify, design and implement a product strategy and delivery a route map that will support the overall business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the formulation of the Protection Business Strategy.
- Identifying, designing planning and delivering product developments.
- Ensuring that products are launched and maintained in line with the Product Lifecycle Model.
- End-to-end management of Protection products for all distribution channels.
- Reviewing and driving forward improvements in the quality of core technical material.
- Ensuring that budgets are set, monitored and adhered to.
- Mobilising, motivating and leading the people within the team to be customer and sales focused, creative and high performing.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of life and disability products and markets highly beneficial though a strong Financial Services background is desirable.
- Experience of developing/building products to meet a specific market need.
- Strong knowledge of product development and manufacturing.
- Good understanding of the principles of risk in relation to pricing, underwriting and claims.
- Ideally holds FPC, Marketing and Management qualifications.
- An experience based appreciation of how to build “high performance” teams.
- Demonstrable expertise in product development and management.
About the Offer
Up to £78,000 + Car + Bonus + Benefits depending on experience.
