My client is a growing CTRM software vendor with clients spread across the globe, trading products across the board from physical oil to coal and coffee. Due to the fantastic growth across all continents they are looking to hire a Senior Manager to take charge of the professional services practice globally. They have an award winning product which has strengths from trade entry, risk management and supply chain and logistics.
The successful candidate is likely to be based in America but my client is open to other location should the right candidate wish to be based elsewhere. This role will have the full responsibility of budget and delivery of all the projects. You will be tasked with growing the practice which will involve hiring and coaching delivery staff. You will also have a part to play in the sales process and the negotiation around consultant's daily billings.
The ideal candidate will come from Energy or Commodities trading back ground working for a software vendor or consultancy. You will need a strong understanding of ETRM or CTRM and how they operate. You will need experience in leading global teams and have the ability to travel globally very extensively around 85% of your time. Communications skills are crucial to the success of this role and your ability to build long meaningful relationships with C level managers. You must have the desire to build a world class delivery team and sustain a year on year growth for your part of the business.
