Head of QA / Test Director – Good Perm Package – Global Consultancy
About the Job
A massive opportunity to join an established global client, on site in a prestigious Australian Telecoms company. My client is looking to hire a Test Director who has had extensive experience in the Telecoms industry.
Role responsibilities:
- Manage the test activities for both BAU specific Projects.
- Establish a robust, effective Testing practice and strategy.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst maximising current network.
- Management of IT Partners.
- Ownership of the overall Testing Framework, including standards, processes, tools, test plans, cases and templates.
- Responsibility for all the testing phases.
- Helping train and mentor new test team.
- Establish Test Execution Status Reports and Test Summary Reports
- Developing test related documentation standards and systems
Required experience and Qualification:
- 15+ years in the QA industry and 5+ years of Test Director.
- Extensive experience in the Telecoms industry.
- Exposure to setting up entirely new Test Practice.
- Experience in establishing new test teams and Test strategy.
- Controlling large budgets whilst running multiple successful projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated proficiency in supporting business process improvement activities
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Knowledge or experience with Data and Systems Architecture.
- Tertiary Education within relevant field.
