Head of Regulatory Risk
The Head of Regulatory Risk is responsible for the oversight, monitoring and reporting of all aspects in UK (and international where applicable) industry and other regulatory requirements, their changes and conducting risk assessments and reviews, identifying the key regulatory risks that the company is facing.
The Head of Regulatory Risk is required to have understanding of the regulatory guidelines and legislation:
- Related to electricity and gas industry as required by Electricity/Utility Act, DECC, Ofgem, Elexon and any other industry regulatory bodies
- Related to any other regulatory bodies and initiative including without limitation FSA (and its successors), MiFID, EMIR, Money Laundering and Data Protection
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Significant experience of the UK energy industry, understanding the energy markets, detailed knowledge of the regulator regimes and environment to which my client is exposed
- Understanding of the regulatory gudelines and legislation related to any other regulatory bodies and initiatives including FSA (and successors), MiFID, EMIR, Money Laundering and Data Protection
- Strong academic track record inclusive of a Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline
