Head of Relationship Management – Custody recruitment

Our client is a prominent global custodian seeking a senior level relationship manager to step into a leadership role within their Relationship Management group. The ideal candidate will come from a strong client services and/or relationship management background for several years, ideally with extensive experience within the superannuation industry or supporting super clients.

Several years of experience within fund accounting or fund reporting prior to stepping in to relationship management would be well suited for this role. Our client is also seeking an applicant who has had experience mentoring and leading more junior client services or relationship management staff.

The position will see the successful candidate overseeing the whole end to end service delivery and reporting back to their clients within their expectations.

The main requirements for this position will be:
• Having a clear understanding of the client expectations
• Having a clear understanding of the end to end processes necessary to deliver these expectations
• Work with the staff responsible within each of the operational areas involved in the end to end process, and make sure that they can deliver their part of the process.
• Manage and resolve client issue
• Manage any potential risk to ensure the risk is reduced or removed
• Developing relationships with appropriate contacts within allocated clients and their related asset consultants, administration and custodian
• Ensure the client is continually satisfied with the end to end process and their expectations are being met.
Prerequisites:
• At least 5+ years experience within a Funds Management, Investment Management or Custodian company.
• At least 3+ years experience working with clients or third party service providers.
• 2-4+ years of direct experience within Relationship Management
