Head of Research and Development
Responsibilities
1.Lead Application team to develop multi-asset class products, primarily focusing on fixed income, FX and OTC derivatives. Must have an infectious passion for satisfying the end customer.
2.Lead Infrastructure team to define and develop the most suitable architecture to support the full suite of application products. Ensure that the technology can scale with the growth and diversity of the products.
3.Lead Operational team to maintain networks, hardware, data centers and operational facilities to provide reliability, redundancy, scalability, and flexibility at low cost.
4.Lead MIS team to build the company internal management system. No "must build here" religion - open source and open minded. Skilled in assessing build vs. buy scenarios.
5.Lead research team for future business needs and develop proprietary technology to exceed competitive demands.
6.Build a culture of technical excellence through hiring, performance management and mentoring, communication, development standards and methodologies, creativity, and transparency.
