Head of Risk Practice (Treasury)

My client is a Global Consultancy with other 12,000 employees worldwide (5000 FinServices, 750 Risk Consultants)

They are looking for a talented individual with significant Risk experience within Treasury, ALM and Liquidity to build a new advisory arm to their current IT Change practice.

My client has very strong long term relationships with a number of FS Banking clients who already use them as their No.1 supplier for systems integration and Target Operating Model Transformation and would like to engage with my client to procure Advisory services within Treasury in order that they may use one consultancy throughout the end 2 end value chain.

As such they are looking to build that capability in house in order to provide its clients with that end 2 end full-service proposition. Initially the incumbent would have a number of group level mandates from their 4 key clients which would provide the opportunity to design and develop the product/service offering and the exact nature of the value proposition and how it would integrate with their current delivery and engagement model, which would then serve as a proof of concept to then launch a fully fledged Risk Practice to new clients.

The initiaitve has the full backing of the CEO and is a critical part of their strategic vision for the companies growth. They have also recently hired another individual to build a similar practice for Collateral Management and these two practices would be closely aligned to gain synergies between the two domains.

Initial work would be mainly focused around advisory to group treasurers around model validation.
