Head of SME banking recruitment
Reporting into the Head of Retail Banking with a dotted line into the CEO, this role requires a candidate that has come from a strong retail banking and has a strong understanding of the SME retail banking model. The successful incumbent will have full responsibility for owning the SME function, growing and developing the area from scratch and eventually hiring a strong supportive team to ensure that the SME segment is profitable for the bank.
It is imperative that the successful candidate has secured experience in building an SME business or staring and growing an SME business from scratch ideally from a retail background. Alternatively if a candidate has developed an SME business within a Corporate banking environment then an understanding of a retail banking operating model is mandatory.
Candidate must have between 10-15 years relevant experience and it is preferable to have secured at least 5 years UAE experience and to be based in the region at the moment.
