Job description
As Head of Strategy and Institutional Relations, you will be responsible for leading a team of policy strategists which represent the institution's standpoint with regards to relevant stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
---Supporting the work on the institutional and financial mechanics of the institution, including the capital structure
---Translating complex and technical topics into concise strategy advise
---Developing new tools/procedures (e.g. capital allocation) which help with the implementation of the institution's strategy
---Coordinating and heading the joint work streams to support the functioning of the institution
---Helping with external publications as well as producing internal policy notes
---Liaising with rating agents
---Producing reports for stakeholders on strategic topics
Who we are looking for
---You have a Masters degree or PhD, preferably in Finance or Economics
---You have 5+ years of experience in policy related work
---You have 5+ years of experience interacting with a network of economists, central banks and/or policy makers
---Management experience is desirable
---You are a strategic thinker
---You possess thorough knowledge of financial markets and their related financial instruments
---You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Additional languages are an advantage
---You have proficiency in office tools
---You have excellent relational skills, are rigorous and a team player
