Head of Structured Finance – Qatar
My client are a leading international bank based in Qatar who are seeking to appoint a Head of Structured Finance to support the wholesale banking Group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the short and long term business strategy, managing performance and risk profile in line with the banks budget and strategy. You will be responsible for heading a small team of professionals focusing on structured finance transactions involving real estate, export financing and multilaterals. Other main responsibilities include, originating and executing structured finance mandates, including syndications and advisory assignments whilst maintaining strong relationships with clients and bankers internationally.
To be considered for the role you must have a Degree level qualification in finance, or any relevant field of study. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Banking or Finance sector, preferably with an international bank. Product knowledge in at least three of the following core business areas is a must. (Corporate banking, International Banking, Financial Institutions, Trade Finance, Treasury, Investment Banking, Project finance or Credit Risk). GCC experience and Arabic language skills preferred.
