Head of Tax Operations recruitment
Our client is a leading international financial services group with a strong local presence. Strategically positioned within the market to capitalise on market share, recent expansion and restructuring within the organisation has created an opportunity for a Tax Operations Manager to head up the Tax function.
The role of Tax Operations Manager demands high levels of responsibility overseeing multiple teams whilst building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with both internal and external clients. Along with participating in senior strategic client meetings, the Tax Operations Manager will be expected to drive real change as well as being responsible for:
- Ensuring full compliance and adherence to tax reporting requirements
- Ownership of the operation, cost, output and service delivery of the team
- Management of approximately 20 staff with numerous direct reports
- Costing and budget management for the function
- Providing technical advice and input to associated Senior Tax Counsel within the organisation
- Actively participate in client presentations and meetings
- Support the overall service delivery of the department via cross-team co-operation
Opportunity exists for a person with extensive commercial experience within financial services, and a proven history in tax accounting and reporting. You will be a recognised technical tax expert within fund administration as well as possessing a detailed understanding of operational risk.
Candidates will display post graduate qualifications and be current with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements. Extensive product knowledge in domestic and international securities and their tax treatment in also required
