Head of Technology Risk (Investment Bank) - Singapore
Must have a successful track record of leading business functions within a Banking environment. This position calls for a strategic leader who understands operational regulatory risk control frameworks, information technology risk management and will utilize that knowledge to implement IT Risk policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the regional IT Risk team and manage the IT Risk function in accordance with the established policies and guidelines.
- Establish risk issue management procedures to ensure the required policies and guidelines are enforced in daily operation.
- Participate in various IT enhancement project to manage the system enhancement risk and control.
- Management of IT related risk, identify key risks potential vulnerabilities and drive for closure in a timely manner.
- Ensure IT Management and Business leaders are engaged, align to and support key strategic and tactical security initiatives.
- Strengthen the IT Risk management support model by enhancing existing IT Risk support services such as Audit execution support, Regulatory inspection, Risk Issue Management.
- Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems, use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the potential risk / issues, and communicate this information to the management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors; work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Either CISSP/ CISM/ CISA desired
- 10 years relevant experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years specialized in IT Risk and Security control area.
- Must have demonstrated leadership specific to technical information security issues as well as an understanding of the financial services industry.
- Strong communication skills to successfully translate technology and security requirements into business terms and influence senior business and IT leadership on a regional basis.
- Ability to rapidly assimilate technical change across a broad range of business and technology requirements and facilitate the development of infrastructure strategies
