Head of Trade & Supply Chain Finance Advisory
Would you like to work in an international environment and create New Standards in financial solutions that supports the international trade business of Danske Bank’s corporate customers? As Head of a brand new team, you will build a strong professional team across the Nordic countries – and as you demonstrate both management skills and knowledge of financial products, you will succeed.
You will be cross-border Head of Trade Supply Chain Finance Advisory – a team of six local country specialists responsible for analysing customer needs and designing solutions based on the bank’s trade supply chain finance products as well as other transactional banking products. You will be located in one of the Nordic capitals depending on your nationality, and as your employees will work across the Nordic countries, travelling will be a essential part of your job.
Responsible for employees and results
Your primary job is to get the team up to speed and build the team competencies across the markets in order to offer our corporate clients first class services. You will be part of the management team, and you are a strong leader with the ability to motivate your team and reach ambitious goals.
You will use your sales and product knowledge to partner with the Relationship Managers. Focus will be on the short and medium dated import or export business as negotiated with corporate customers of the bank or with their customers. You aim to leverage the strong relationship we enjoy with many corporate customers across the Nordic markets and support their international trade by offering financing solutions, such as reverse factoring and factoring.
Experience within management and financing products
You have a degree in business, finance or other similar education, and you have a professional track record with sufficient experience and the ability to gain confidence and act as a preferred sparring partner to customers, staff and stakeholders. At the same time you are a strong leader with the ability to coach a team of professionals, and you have previous experience in managing teams at project and/or managerial level.
You have substantial product and sales knowledge on transactional and financing products relevant to corporate customers. In your previously job, you have demonstrated your ability to negotiate complicated structured transactions with customers and with other stakeholders. In short, you are a result-oriented, customer focused, flexible, analytical manager with a high level of energy. And last but not least, you are fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages.
