Head of Training
Our clients range from start-ups to large firms with well-established track records that utilise a broad array of investment strategies and styles such as: long only, long/short equities, global macro, credit, distressed, bank debt, fixed income, private equity, venture capital, real estate-related and fund of fund strategies.
Due to continued demand for our market leading training courses and plans for further growth in this business critical area, we are looking to hire a proven Training professional with significant experience of delivering regulatory training.
We feel this is a unique role and envisage the successful candidate covering a broad of responsibilities including (but not limited to):
- Delivery of face-to-face training to clients, both in house and onsite
- Work closely with consulting teams and senior management to ensure that training materials remain current and are updated as required
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the current regulatory landscape, including any proposed changes to FCA and European regulation
- Build / develop client relationships
- Play a key part in developing the training offering
Key Skills/Experience
- Proven track record as a Training professional with experience ideally gained working in or delivering to asset / investment managers, securities firms, specialist regulatory consultancies, the Big4 or the FCA
- Experience of dealing wholesale investment firms (preferred)
- Proven ability to effectively deliver a broad range of training courses (usually delivered to small groups of 5 – 15 attendees)
- Competent in producing a high standard of written training material
- Current knowledge and understanding of key regulatory issues faced by our clients
- Ability to engage with clients to establish and maintain effective relationships
- High level of organisational ability
